History

May, 1995 - The beginning of functioning of Trade House Elvas Company. The group of like-minded persons under the leadership of Main shareholder and President makes a decision on activity directions and development strategy of the Company.

1998 - Company started to deliver tinplate (EZhK) to Ukrainian market. Main suppliers: Ispat-Karmet (Kazakhstan), Мagnitogorsk Iron and Steel works (Russia).

2001 - Company's tinplate consumption is 7 500 metric tons per year.

2002 - Company started to deliver hot dip galvanized steel. Main suppliers: Ispat-Karmet (Kazakhstan), Мagnitogorsk Iron and Steel works (Russia).

2004 - Company's annual steel consumption 18 600 metric tons, which is 15 000 000 USD

2005 - Company started to deliver hot dip galvanized steel with polymeric coating. Annual steel consumption increased to 19 600 metric tons. Company enters into cooperation with producers and major metal trading companies from China, India, Middle East and South-East Asia.

2006 - Company started building of production-and-warehouse complex. Annual steel consumption increased to 26 200 metric tons. Company develops additional directions and starts deliveries if building materials from China.

2007 - Company started transit deliveries to consumers from CIS countries. Steel consumption in 2007 - 27 500 metric tons.

2008 - ELVAS group made a decision on rebranding and creating Trade Mark. The first stage of production-and-warehouse complex is started.

2009 - ELVAS plays an active role in the development of the city. This year our company has made a direct participant and sponsor of social program "Research values the residents of Dnipropetrovsk and region." The project was implemented for the personal funds of the Club DYB and donations and is made of the Expert Company Pro.mova (Kiev) to eliminate the influence of inner-city flows. The study gives a deeper understanding of the needs of residents, their beliefs, motivations, priority system, presents a serious factual basis for the development of strategies for sustainable development of the city and region for 10-20 years.

2010 - Put into operation industrial warehouse complex with a total area of 5,5 thousand square meters. The possibility of expanding production to 15 thousand square meters. The company "Elvas" participated in the exhibition "InterBudEkspo-2010" (Kiev). As a visitor, company representatives have visited the international exhibition "EuroBLECH-2010 in Hannover (Germany) and paid an official visit metallurgical enterprise" Essar Steel "in India. The result of a business meeting was an agreement on further cooperation in order to increase the volume of purchases and the development of mutually beneficial partnerships.
The company also organized seminars to improve the skills of employees. Actively contributes with clients - to hold meetings and seminars. On permanent basis is conducted support for socially disadvantaged groups.

The year 2011 was a period of successful development of the company. Elvas Group finished building of new industrial complex with total area of ??one thousand square meters.

In the new workshop installed automatic line of Finnish company «Samesor» for production of metal tiles. The equipment enables to produce metal roofing such as «Monterey» in the classical and modular version.

New production facilities will allow the company to implement plans for the further development of metalworking production. In 2012 the company plans to open the metal center in the city of Lviv.
